Description
Measures the carbonate hardness reliably and precisely in fresh and salt water as well as ponds.
Bicarbonates (KH) are calcium and magnesium ions in the water. The carbonate hardness acts as a pH buffer and thus prevents a sudden drop in the pH value (acid drop). A favourable KH value is between 3 and 10°dH.
Content:
1x 10 ml test reagent
1 cuvette
Instructions for use and recommendations
For the wellbeing of the fish, it is recommended to test every 2-3 days in a new aquarium, and once a week in established aquariums.
